The Celebrating Women & Wellness Committee was formed in 2009 by Memorial Health Care System's leadership. Women are often the driving force behind health care decisions; the creation of this committee ensures that the women of Fremont and Sandusky County are properly educated on important topics relevant to their and their family's well-being.

To provide monthly seminars for woman of all ages in an effort to empower them with the knowledge and confidence they deserve to make the best healthcare and well-being decisions for themselves and their families. Our focus is to enlighten women to the community resources that can enhance them in mind, body and spirit.

The Mary Miller Hayes Leadership Award
In addition to hosting monthly events on topics such as nutrition, heart-health and many others, the Celebrating Women & Wellness Committee also gives out the annual Mary Miller Hayes Leadership Award.
