ProMedica Memorial Hospital in Fremont Ohio opened its doors in 1918. Built by citizens of Fremont and Sandusky County to ensure the community has a high-quality local health care system, Memorial Hospital remains community owned and committed to every patient’s right to the best possible care in a comfortable and caring environment.
Today, ProMedica Memorial Hospital is a state-of-the-art medical center with over 150 physicians and nearly 500 employees. We provide a comprehensive range of services, including the latest in surgical and diagnostic procedures as well as a completely new physical medicine facility which houses our HealthLink and Physical Medicine services.
While we continue to change to keep pace with technology and ensure our community the finest in medical care, our sense of community and devotion to our patients remain the cornerstone of Memorial Hospital.
In 2014 Memorial Hospital joined Toledo-based ProMedica.
