Project ASPIRE
In November, 2011 Memorial Hospital engaged in a long-term, $6.7 million project that has enhanced technology at the hospital and its associated facilities. This technology improvement initiative has been nicknamed “Project ASPIRE” (Achieve Safety and Productivity by Improving Quality and Reducing Errors); it will focus on replacing and upgrading the hospital’s entire data network and nearly every application. Emergency Department Renovations
The Board of Directors at Memorial Health Care System (MHCS) have approved renovations to the Emergency Department at Memorial Hospital. The renovations are taking place in existing space at the hospital, with no additional building. Continue reading...
Lobby Renovations
The renovation included updating the lighting, flooring, furniture, and wall paint. In addition, a water feature has been added in memory of a local family as well as a fireplace in the Weitzel Kern Surgery Center Lobby. Continue reading...
Herbert-Perna Center Renovations
The largest expansion project we completed this year included the Herbert-Perna Center for Physical Health. This $6.3 million Center was the second phase of the Hospital's expansion plans and now houses the HealthLink and Physical Medicine departments. Continue reading...
Women's Diagnostic Center
The new Women's Diagnostic Center will feature the hospital's new digital mammography machine, as well as a DEXA (bone density) scanner and ultrasound capabilities. The new center is scheduled to be completed in the spring of 2010. Continue reading...
