Thomas Bowlus, Holly Elder join foundation board

The Memorial Hospital Foundation Board welcomed Holly Elder and Thomas Bowlus, Esq. to its team in 2012; both new members are local leaders with extensive community involvement.
“We are very excited to have Tom and Holly join the Memorial Hospital Foundation Board of Directors,” stated Chasity O’Neill, Memorial Hospital Director of Development.
Tom Bowlus is a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science, with distinction, in Natural Resources, and a Juris Doctor, both from The Ohio State University. Bowlus is the Managing Member at Bowlus & Murrell, Ltd. in Fremont, Ohio, and he also owns and operates Park Avenue Title Agency, Inc. Bowlus is involved in many community organizations, including the Kiwanis Club of Fremont (past president, current board member) and Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. (board member, secretary). Bowlus is also past board chair for the Sandusky River Chapter of the American Red Cross, past president of the Sandusky County Bar Association and past board member of Camp Fire and Misty Meadows, Inc. Bowlus is also the owner and Editor-in-Chief of Bass Gear Magazine, the leading online & print bass magazine worldwide focusing on gear reviews. Bowlus and his wife Bonnie have two children, Travis and Veronica.
Holly Elder is a graduate of Fremont Ross High School as well. She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Bowling Green State University. Elder is the City of Fremont Treasurer; she has held this post since 2008. Elder also owns and operates Avenues for the Home, an interior decorating company. She is a member of the Auxiliary of Memorial Hospital, Exchange Club, Friends of Birchard Public Library, Friends of Minnow Creek, past president of Bethesda Arts Council of Sandusky County, First United Church of Christ Finance Committee and member and Cosmopolitan Club. Elder lives in Fremont with her husband John and their two daughters Maeve and Claire.
The Memorial Hospital Foundation supports the projects of the hospital by raising funds from the community through events, annual campaigns, capital campaigns, memorial and honoree giving, and planned giving.
