Hospital associates earn degrees

Shawna Baker, R.N., B.S.N. and Nikki Upton, R.N., B.S.N. recently earned their Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees from the University of Phoenix and Chamberlain College of Nursing, respectively. Bakersplits her time at Memorial Hospital between pediatrics and quality/infection control; Upton works full time in obstetrics (OB/birthing center).

Deb Klotz from the Sleep Disorder Center recently took and passed The National Board for Respiratory Care Sleep Disorder Testing and Therapeutic Intervention Respiratory Care Specialist examination; which helped her earn the CRT-SDS credentials. This new credential recognizes her as a registered polysomnographic technologist by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM).

Memorial Hospital offers inpatient pediatric care; the hospital is one of the few in the region with inpatient pediatrics. The Memorial Hospital's birthing center offers private, family focused birthing for the women of the local community.

The Memorial Hospital Sleep Disorder Center has diagnostic and treatment development capabilities. Sleep Disorder Center associates deliver quality care in a highly personalized and cost efficient manner.
