Iracema Arevalo, M.D. earns PIDS board certifcation

Memorial Hospital physician Iracema Arevalo M.D. recently became board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in pediatric infectious disease. Dr. Arevalo is a pediatrician for Memorial Hospital in Fremont Ohio. She is also board certified in general pediatrics.

Pediatric infectious disease specialists (PIDS) care for recurring or persistent diseases caused by an infectious agent such as bacteria, fungus, parasite, or other rare infections. Some conditions treated by PIDS specialists include respiratory infections, bone and joint infections, tuberculosis (TB), acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS), hepatitis, meningitis, children born with sexually transmitted diseases and more.
