"Going Green" with Sandco Industries

Memorial Hospital has joined the Sandco Industries of Sandusky County “Go Green” paper and plastics recycling initiative. The Memorial Environmental Services Team will place plastic bottles and aluminum cans in special bins provided by Sandco. All Shredded material along with the bottles and cans will be collected by Sandco Industries Go Green Department for recycling. All recycling services are provided by employees with developmental disabilities. This supportive work environment offers coaching, job training, supervision, and meaningful paid employment.

According to Nick Burchfield, director of environmental services, “We are very excited to support these local services.”
Recyclable materials can be dropped off at Sandco Industries Go Green Shed, located in the Sandco parking lot at 1101 Castalia Rd, Fremont Ohio, at your convenience.
