Ear, nose & throat (ENT) specialist joins medical staff

James. M. Williams, M.D., Ph.D. has joined the Memorial Hospital medical staff; he sees patients full time in Fremont, Ohio. Dr. Williams specializes in treating adult and pediatric ear, nose and throat conditions, including surgery for head and neck disorders. Dr. Williams has more than 20 years ENT specialty care experience.

According to Wes Oswald, Memorial Hospital Interim CEO, “We are very excited to have Dr. Williams’ specialty skills at Memorial Hospital; to have an ENT physician full time in Fremont will allow many more patients to stay in town for their health care needs.”

Dr. Williams comprehensive range of ENT services include endoscopic sinus surgery; nasal and septal surgery; laser surgery; head and neck surgery (for tumors and facial skin cancer); evaluation and treatment of dizziness and balance disorders; external, middle and inner ear surgery; snoring and obstructive sleep apnea surgery; pediatric upper airway surgery and ear tubes; treatment of hearing loss and more.

Dr. Williams earned his medical degree at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Williams earned a Ph.D. in Development Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
