Inpatient Dialysis Services
Some other services that are provided by the ICU are post-operative patient care, including pulmonology, critical care, nephrology and cardiology.
The ICU features hospitalist centered care. A hospitalist is a board certified physician dedicated to the treatment of hospitalized patients. The admitting physician will still play a key role in the patient's hospitalization, however he/she will routinely consult with the hospitalist throughout the patient’s stay.
The hospitalist will monitor the patient’s condition as well as the continuing care. This special inpatient focus allows the hospitalist to allocate more time, attention and energy to addressing individual patient’s needs and concerns. hospitalists provide frequent consultation with families, and have the additional advantage of being on-site to provide focused care.
Some of the specialized procedures that Memorial Hospital ICU provides are inpatient dialysis, Cardio Version 1 Tee, Ventilator Management, and specialized monitoring that may be required.
The ICU is located on the third floor of Memorial Hospital in Fremont Ohio. To arrive at the ICU, take the main elevators from the hospital lobby to the third floor and follow the directional signs to your left.
