Ann Smith, R.N., M.P.H., C.I.C.

Director, Quality and Infection Control

Ann Smith has been with Memorial Hospital since 2010. She is a graduate of St. Vincent Mercy School of Nursing with a diploma in nursing. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Bowling Green State University in Consortium with The University of Toledo. Ann earned a Master of Public Health, with an administration concentration from the Northwest Ohio Consortium for Public Health (BGSU/UT); she is also certified in infection control through the Certification Board for Infection Control (CBIC).

Manager, Volunteers & Golden Threads

Annette Overmyer has been with Memorial Hospital for over 31 years. She is the manager of the Golden Threads Senior Program, volunteer department and interpreter services. Annette is certified through the Ohio Health Care Volunteer Management Association; her passion is working with senior citizens.

Annette and her family are actively involved with the Sandusky County Fair. She also has four horses, four dogs, 23 cats (all outside barn cats that she would be glad to part ways with) and one rooster.


Becky Edge, R.N., B.S.N., C.O.H.N.-S
Director, Occupational Health/HealthLink

Becky Edge has been with Memorial Hospital since 1998. Becky earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Detroit Mercy. She is a certified occupational health nurse. Prior to becoming an occupational health nurse, Becky worked as a critical care nurse.


Carrie Drown, M.S.N., M.B.A.
Director, Memorial Home Health

Carrie Drown has worked at Memorial Hospital since 1987. She attended The University of Toledo/MCO for her B.S.N. and M.S.N., and earned her M.B.A. from Tiffin University. Carrie has been in home health care for over 20 years. What Carrie enjoys most about her job helping patients return to their home to recover following illnesses or surgeries.

When Carrie is not at work, her four children keep her very busy.

Director, Development & Marketing

Chasity O’Neill has been with Memorial Hospital since 2008. She came to the hospital from The University of Toledo, where she worked as a director of development. She also previously work for the Medical College of Ohio Foundation as their director of annual giving. Chasity is a graduate of The University of Toledo with a degree in Communication.

She was born and raised in Ashtabula, Ohio and now lives with her husband Kyle in Elmore. They have two children, Sophia and Brennan.

Director, Emergency Department

Corey Leber has been with Memorial Hospital since 2010. Previous to joining Memorial Hospital, Corey worked for several years at Firelands Regional Medical Center in Sandusky, where he was the emergency charge nurse and helped the facility achieve a Level Three Trauma Certification.

Corey especially enjoys working with the challenging and progressive environment found within the Memorial Hospital Emergency Department; he describes himself as having a “great passion for emergency nursing.” Corey earned an associate degree in nursing from Lorain County Community College.


Craig Newman, M.S., M.B.A., M.T. (ASCP)
Director, Laboratory Services

Craig Newman  has been the Director of Laboratory Services at Memorial Hospital since January 2011. He has 20 years of experience and has held numerous positions within laboratory medicine with increasing responsibility. He received his training in the US Air Force and degrees from the University of Maryland University College.

Craig was born and raised in Port Clinton and currently lives in Oak Harbor with his wife Heather and 3 children. In his spare time he enjoys playing bass guitar and spending time with his family.


Denise Woolley, C.P.M.S.M., C.P.C.S.
Director, Medical Staff Services

Denise Woolley is the Director of Medical Staff Services at Memorial Hospital, Fremont. She has been affiliated with Memorial since 1985, managing the organization of the medical staff, which includes physician recruitment/retention/relations, credentialing, and continuing medical education. Denise is a member of the Ohio Network Physician Recruiters, and Ohio Association Medical Staff Services where she has served on the Board of Directors as President. She is also a member of the National Association Medical Staff Services. Denise holds certifications as a Certified Professional in Medical Services Management and also Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist..


Dustin Hufford
Chief Information Officer

Dustin Hufford is Memorial Hospital’s Chief Information Officer (CIO). As Memorial Hospital’s CIO, Dustin has been the leader for the hospital’s $6.7 million technology enhancement initiative, Project ASPIRE. Previously, he has work as a health information technology consultant and as a system network administrator in Philadelphia. Dustin has also worked for the Coker Group out of Dallas Texas. He has a degree in Information Systems from Drexel University. In his spare time, Dustin enjoys traveling, reading and watching movies – he’s actually quite a movie buff.


Jeff Vogel, M.A., L.P.C.C.
Director, The Center for Mental Health & Well-Being

Jeff Vogel is a licensed professional clinical counselor. He works with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. Some of Jeff’s specialties include working with abuse related issues, chemical dependency, mood disorders – such as depression and bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders and many other mental health issues.

Director, Surgical Services

Jim Hawk has been with Memorial Hospital since 2011. Previously, Jim worked Lima Memorial Hospital in Lima, Ohio. At Lima Memorial, he served in multiple leadership roles, including as the director of surgical services since 2002. He was the director of operations for eight units, including surgery, open heart, PACU, same-day outpatient unit, endoscopy, pre-admission testing, anesthesia and central supply. While at Lima Memorial, Jim also helped set up the hospital’s pain management center.

Jim earned his nursing degree from Lima Technical College and Bachelor of Science in applied management from Grand Canyon University.


Joe Buti, B.A.
Director, Materials Management

Joe Buti has been with Memorial Hospital since 1994. He started as director of housekeeping and linen and also worked with hospice, facility hosts, and maintenance.

Joe received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from The Ohio State University. He is originally from Bellaire, Ohio. When Joe isn't hustling around the hospital, he enjoys spending time at Lake Erie, reading and following professional and college sports.

Director, Service and Organizational Excellence

Leslie Meyer's professional background includes 16 years of mental health and employee assistance counseling. Her experience in understanding human behavior and group dynamics has led her to focus on improving the patient experience at Memorial Hospital. She leads Memorial Hospital's service excellence initiatives and assists the hospital in focusing on improving to service provided to our patients.

Leslie has two teenage children and has been married for over 20 years. She enjoys traveling, spending time at Lakeside and competing in running and triathlon events.


Linda Fox, R.N.
Director, Obstetrics, Pediatrics

Linda Fox has been the director of the obstetrics department since 1985. She is a graduated of St. Vincet School of Nursing in Toledo, Ohio. In her free time, Linda enjoys boating, fishing and spending time with her family at their many sporting activities.


Nancy Brown, R.D.

Clinical Dietitian

Nancy Brown is a registered dietician who performs nutrition assessments for the hospital’s patients, assists individuals with meal plans and provides educational sessions on health topics related to healthy diet and general nutrition. Nancy earned a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medical Dietetics from Morehead State University in Morehead Kentucky . Her favorite aspect of her job is helping people achieve their personal wellness goals.

Nancy keeps her husband and two children fed well with the produce from her herb and vegetable garden.

Director, Pharmacy

Randy Koch has been a registered pharmacist at Memorial Hospital since 1984. Koch is a graduate of The University of Toledo College of Pharmacy. In his spare  time, Randy enjoys spending time with his family and riding motorcycles.


Robert Alexander, B.S.
Director, Dietary Services

Rob Alexander has been with Memorial Hospital since 2006. He has worked in the food service industry since 1976, serving at many operational levels, and in six different state. Rob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Accounting from Geneva College.

Rob enjoys gardening, sports, boating and following his three teenage sons participation in sports and many other activities.


Sara Darr, R.N.
Director, Pain Management

Sara Darr is a graduate of Owens Community College. She has been working with Memorial Hospital since 2003.  Prior to Memorial Hospital, Sara worked at Providence Hospital in Sandusky, OH. 

Sara is a life long resident of Fremont, Ohio where she lives with her husband and two children. In her free time, Sara enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with her family.

Director, Physical Medicine

As the Memorial Hospital Director of Physical Medicine, Shannon Reardon oversees physical, occupational and speech therapy at the hospital. She is a licensed physical therapist and is also credentialed by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Shannon earned her Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from The Ohio State University.

Shannon is a member of Memorial Hospital's Employee of Choice Team, FamilyFest Planning Committee and Rewards and Recognition Team.


Tally Gallogly, M.A., L.P.C.C.
Manager, Summit Employee Assistance Program

Tally Gallogly is a licensed Mental Health Therapist and Chemical Dependency Counselor. He is also a Certified Employee Assistance Professional. Tally has been a professional counselor for 19 years. With Summit EAP, he works to provide professional counseling and consultation services to over forty companies and area hospitals.

Tally lives in Port Clinton, Ohio with his wife Kathy and their two children Ty and Meghan.

Director, Ambulatory Care, Medical/Surgical Unit

Teri Day has been with Memorial Hospital since 2010. Previous to her time with Memorial Hospital, Teri worked for 19 years at St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee; she also worked as the school nurse for Clyde-Green Springs and Margaretta school districts.  Her background includes experience in medical/surgical nursing, occupational health, and nursing education.  Teri has also been active in staff development and holds her PHR in Human Resources.  

Teri and her husband, Randy live in the Castalia area with their two children, Emilie and Tommy.  She and her family enjoy raising beef cattle. Teri is also involved with juvenile diabetes advocacy groups.


Todd Bickley, R.R.T., R.C.P.
Director, Cardiopulmonary Services

Todd Bickley has served as interim director and director of Special Services since February 2011. He has been affiliated with Memorial Hospital as a staff respiratory therapist since 1995. Prior to his role as director, Todd had served as respiratory therapy manager at Memorial Hospital. Todd is a registered respiratory therapist and a licensed respiratory care professional. Before coming to Memorial Hospital, he has worked a director of respiratory therapy at the former St. Francis Care Center in Greens Springs, and as an on-staff respiratory therapist and pulmonary outreach coordinator at various health care facilities in the area.

Bickley lives in Fremont with his wife Rachelle and their three children. He is currently pursuing his bachelor's degree in business administration.

Director, Hospice of Memorial Hospital

Vicki Meade is a graduate of Providence Hospital School of Nursing. She has worked with Hospice of Memorial Hospital for 20 years, being director since 2009. Vicki’s passion is to continue to care for the people in this community as hospice has for the past 25 years.

Vicki was born and raised in Clyde, Ohio; she has spent most of her life in this community. She presently lives in Clyde with her husband Ron. Vicki has two children in college.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, spending time outdoors and relieving her stress at boot camp class.
